Austin Aquifer was founded by Mr. Saidul Haq, a highly experienced hydrogeologist with over three decades of dedicated service in the field of groundwater management. Mr. Haq holds an M.Sc. in Geology from the esteemed Banaras Hindu University (BHU), providing him with a strong academic foundation in geoscience.
Mr. Haq began his career with the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) in 1988, where he worked for 34 years across diverse terrains and regions, honing his expertise in groundwater resources, hydrogeology, and sustainable water management. His dedication and expertise earned him accreditation from the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) as a Certified Groundwater Consultant, a recognition granted only after rigorous training, examination, and interview.
In April 2023, Mr. Haq established Austin Aquifer as a proprietary consultancy, specializing in water audits and impact assessment reports. Since then, Austin Aquifer has collaborated with numerous renowned institutions, conducting comprehensive water audits, evaluating resource sustainability, and helping organizations develop responsible water use strategies to preserve and protect vital aquifers.
